There are TONS of family-friendly events in and around Destin nearly every day from now until Christmas. Here is a brief run-down to help you fill the calendar.
Meet Santa at HarborWalk Village- Beginning December 5th & 6th
Your children can meet Santa and have their photo made with him every Saturday and Sunday (beginning December 5th) between now and Christmas. Times are 12:00-4:00 pm and each guest gets a special treat.
Free Photos with Santa Claus in Grand Boulevard- December 5th, 12th, and 19th
Free Photos with Santa every Saturday between now and Christmas. Times are 2-3 pm at Grand Park. Also, our friends at Abrakadoodle will be in Grand Park, 1:30-3:30 PM, providing a free festive, holiday ornament making craft!
Chanukah Menorah Lighting at HarborWalk Village- December 6th
Enjoy a grand menorah lighting on the main stage with hot latkes, chanukah music and kids activites beginning at 4:00 PM. For more information visit chabademeraldcoast.org.
Ft. Walton Beach Christmas Parade- December 7th
It’s a “Star Spangled Christmas” this year as the City of Fort Walton Beach hosts its annual Christmas Parade! Musical entertainment will be provided by area school bands and participating applicants as the parade march begins at 6:30 pm and moves up Eglin Parkway from First Street to the K-Mart parking lot.
Destin Christmas Parade- December 12th
The theme for the 31st annual Destin Christmas Parade is “A Storybook Christmas.” The parade begins at 10:00 am. Floats will start at Downtown Destin Shopping Center (Old Time Pottery) and travel west down Harbor Blvd. (Hwy 98) to Nightown on Stahlman Avenue. Please stand on the north side of Harbor Blvd. to watch the floats.
Breakfast with Santa- December 13th, 19th, and 20th
Ring in the holiday cheer and have breakfast with Santa Claus at Grande Vista Bar and Grill! Make your reservation and ring (850) 424-0621!
Destin Harbor Boat Parade- December 13th
The Destin Harbor will be dancing with holiday lights and cheer during the 29th Annual Destin Boat Parade. You can really enjoy the views of the festive boats from any spot on the harbor, but many restaurants will offer specials for the parade. At HarborWalk Village you can enjoy live music, children’s arts and craft and hot chocolate!
