This month’s feature is all about The Local Market! This funky little sandwich and juice shop (not to mention market) is a big favorite with every member of our family. This is actually my second blog post dedicated to Local Market (we love it THAT much!).
The restaurant opened in 2015 and can be described as a juice bar with killer breakfast and scratch-made sandwiches that retails gourmet jams and jellies, as well as wine and beer.
There’s something for everyone at Local Market.
Local Market is open for breakfast and lunch and we love both equally! As far as breakfast goes, the kids love the fresh-squeezed juices and donuts (made in house!).
The avocado toast (add a fried egg) is my go-to and Jason enjoys the honey butter fried chicken biscuit. Oh yes.
As for lunch, you really can’t go wrong with any of their gigantic sandwiches. Jason tried the Cuban recently and I nearly stole it all from him. It was delicious!
The turkey avocado is my number one favorite, if I had to choose. Can you tell I’m an avocado fan? And definitely splurge and upgrade to fries!
The kids’ grilled cheese is a real crowd-pleaser among our group, also.
Local Market is located on Holiday Isle in Destin, very close to our new house. We are thrilled about being able to walk to our favorite spot very soon.
Whether you’re visiting or live in the area, give Local Market a try soon for a fun and tasty breakfast or lunch. And for my fellow coffee-lovers, the cold brew is spot on!
